Torre Antica is a magnificent, large country house with a detached cottage in the countryside of Larniano just 8km away from San Gimignano in the Siena region of Tuscany Italy. With a small church in the courtyard on the estate, Torre Antica makes an ideal property for wedding groups or when you simply want to treat yourself to something special.
Part of a large country estate, the house has an ancient medieval watch-tower built over 8 centuries ago on Etruscan foundations and later included by the farm. Over the centuries the tower had been home for farmers who shake the rooms according to their housing needs. Then the tower has been transformed into a country villa, full of history and charm, surrounded by the green olive trees and vineyards. Within the estate there is a small Etruscan tomb (which can be visited on request).

It was part of the plover of Cellori until 1782, the year in which San Gimignano was dismembered by the diocese of Volterra.
